My friend told me about the new center in our community, where you can learn computer for free. I first hesitated, as I did not believe what was I actually hearing. I went to the center, where they asked me to register - and on March 2007 - I can’t remember the exact date - I started to learn Ms Office there. The course took two months to finish, and after that I was a new person.
The kind of difficulties I was experiencing after finishing my high school were adversely affecting my life, and the sense of no hope was becoming a heavy burden to bear in my heart. The computer course changed everything.
Immediately after the graduation I enrolled with our local home-based care organisation, where they took me because of the course, and where we are now working hand-in-hand with our local clinic.
It is very rewarding to have a job now, and helping people from here-and-there, so I thank Nan Hua Temple for the opportunity I was given by them which has changed my life forever. All our daily activities and records are kept safe in the computer in the office, and the computer technology has made our work very easy and rewarding.
