Waking up every morning and there no job for you, you send your cv’s to more than 80 potential companies and no reply for a year, it can get real frustration in life. This happen to me after completing my Matrix in 2003 and stayed the whole year at home hoping something will come around so that I can start being independent. Until 2005 when I lost of hope of ever finding something to change my life when I came across the article advertising about free computer courses for community of Zithobeni. I grabbed the opportunity with my both hands and after completing the course I now got what I was longing for.

I work so hard everyday to give back to the community as the temple did to me. The have given me something that no one will ever be able to take away from me. The knowledge of computer, is a very vital skill for one to possess it, it doesn’t come cheap. Surprisingly, Nan Hua temple out of their compassion have given the community of Kwa-Sokulumi to learn this vital knowledge of life, free of charge. Unbelievable as it may sound, yes, it was for free. I studied there delegently, knowing that this might be my last chance in life to do something for myself. 

Since started working at the Traffic Department in Bronkhorstspruit, in 2009 March, I have come to appreciate and real understand how important the idea of having a computer center in Zithobeni . Whoever comes up with such an idea and putting so many resources for people like me to benefit for free, to me that person is a true Manifestation of God Himself. Just imagined, I had dreams but I knew I would never be able to realize them because I will never have the money to propel me there. I was real in despair and lost all hopes of life. But hey, here comes Nan Hua temple with the idea of learning computer course free of charge…guess what I took when it was still fresh.

The students from Mamelodi, Monsterlorous and Witbank, converged at the Nan Hua temples’ gallery to cerebrate the achievement in of obtaining a testimonial in Basic computer course. The graduates dressed in smartest outfits, brought with them the atmosphere of hope and determination. 

In addressing the fellow graduates, Isaih Makuwa from Mosterolous, said, he could not have received the computer knowledge without the help and compassion of the Nan Hau Temple. He, so as most of the graduates are coming from underprivileged background and it could have been impossible for them to afford the fees to study computer. Hence, he thank the temple and hoping the project should continue as many years as possible so that many more  people should  benefit.

A spectacular closing ceremony was held in the Conference Room of Nan Hua Temple on the 2nd April 2013  a group of 15 young people from over a thousand kilometers away,  after a month of computer training, finally graduated, and achieved their dreams.

15 young graduates  traveled first time away from their home in Mdantsane, EastenCape, to Nanhua Academy in Bronkhorstspruit, Gauteng Province. Nan Hua Temple arranged a separate accommodation  for men and women  for the learners, four hours a day of computer lessons 3 vegetarian meals a day…  to take advantage of NHA  1- month basic MOS course.
